Do you want to design and print your own organic cotton tote to take home? In this super fun class you'll use simple but effective stencil and block printing methods to make surprisingly sophisticated patterns on cloth.
We’ll start with some amazing appies from chef Luc Leimanis and a drink while we take a look at some inspiring examples of modern block printing to get the creativity flowing. You'll get a brief background on repeat patterns + an information sheet to take home. Then we'll get to work making some test prints.
Either make a simple block that you can take home or use one of the already carved blocks supplied to print an organic cotton tote bag. This class will open up a world of printing possibilities that you can use to make amazing bags, kitchen linens, accessories and more at home using only your kitchen table and simple equipment.
